The German automaker has officially started booking a test drive of the new Audi A6, which is ready for its 2021 launch. Customers can book for the test drive on the Audi test drive official website.
The new Audi A6 2021 receives some updates, that make it disparate from the previous 2020 version. Let’s get into the details of the new Audi A6 2021.
Audi A6 2021 Specifications
The new Audi A6 2021 features an inter-cooled Turbo Gas and Turbo Electric I-4, 2.0 L engine which generates a 248 PS of power at 4300 rpm and 273 Nm of torque at 1600 rpm. Both the engines are mated to a 7-Speed Stronic automatic transmission. The fuel average of the new Audi is, as claimed by the company, 12.75 kmpl. The drivetrain of the Audi A6 is All Wheel Drive.
Up to 5 passengers can seat at once in the car. The trunk capacity is 388 litre. If we talk about the brakes, then the 4-wheel Disc brake system is used, which results in the similar brake force is applied to all the four wheels simultaneously. In addition to the 4-wheel ABS system. We know from the unveiling in the USA, that the new A6 will be available in the market in twelve amazing colors. But, still there is no official announcement made for the Indian market.
Audi A6 2021 Features
On the exterior, the new Audi comes with a 19″ Bi-color 5-double-spoke-design steel spare wheel which gives a kinda sporty look. On the front fascia, a programmable projector-beam LED low/high beam auto-leveling auto high-beam Daytime Running Lights (DRLs). Also, the presence of chrome grille galvanized aluminum panels gives some classy display. On the rear fascia, we have LED Brakelights and Trunk Rear Cargo Access.
At the interior, the new Audi comes with an infotainment system of 8.8″ upper and 8.6″ lower screens in which an MMI Navigation Plus is integrated. And, there is a support of Alexa integration, Audi smartphone interface (wired Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay), Audi sound system, Bluetooth preparation for mobile phone and SiriusXM All Access service. There is a leather/metal-look steering wheel with auto Tilt-Away, which feels very premium when holding in our hands. Also, there is a support of Air Filtration is added, just like an air filter coming in Kia Sonet.
On the safety front, there are the dual-stage driver and passenger seat-mounted side airbags which is very effective during accidents. With the feature included like Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and ABS and Driveline Traction Control (DTC), there is very minute chances of the skidding of cars during rains and natural hazards. Other features include side-impact beams, Audi parking system plus front and rear parking sensors, low tire pressure warning, outboard front lap and shoulder safety belts- rear center 3 point, height adjusters, and many more.
A6 2021 Variants
In India, unfortunately there will be only 45 TFSI variants available. As per the official Audi test drive website only test drive booking of the before-mentioned model is listed. The 45 TFSI trims include:
- Premium 45 TFSI Quattro: The price for this trim starts from USD 54900 (roughly INR 42 lakhs). It features a Turbocharged MHEV 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, leather seats (heated in front) & genuine wood trim, Triple-zone automatic climate control, Dual-screen MMI Touch Response controls with navigation, Audi Pre Sense Basic and Pre Sense Front.
- 2021 Audi A6 Premium Plus 45: The price for this trim starts from USD 54900 (roughly INR 42 lakhs). It features Audi Virtual Cockpit instrumentation, Adaptive Cruise Assist, Bang & Olufsen premium sound system, Audi Side Assist & Pre Sense Rear, and Top-view camera with Virtual 360 view.
- 2021 Audi A6 Prestige 45: The price for this trim starts from USD 54900 (roughly INR 42 lakhs). It fetures Heated & ventilated 12-way-power front seats, Four-zone automatic climate control, Head-up display, Adaptive cruise control with Traffic Jam Assist, and Audi Active Lane Assist with Emergency Assist.
