Launched back in mid-2019, Toyota Glanza is now coming with the BS-6 compliant engine. But there is a slight trick, the price of the car has been hiked by INR 26000, and now the updated price is between INR 7.01 lakh and INR 8.96 lakh.
Toyota Glanza Specifications
The car is available in two variants: G and V, there is only a single variant available in the market that is the petrol variant. The only petrol variant features both new engines, a 1.2-litre Suzuki K12B petrol, that comes with the Baleno, which produces an 83PS of power and 113Nm of torque. A new 1.2-litre Dual Jet mild-hybrid engine, which produces a 90PS of power and 113Nm of torque. Both are available with a 5-speed manual transmission, and there is a CVT automatic on offer, too.
Toyota Glanza Features
The features include, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat anchors and rear parking sensors are available as standard. The infotainment system on the Glanza has been dubbed Smart Playcast but it is the same unit present in the Baleno. Toyota is offering it on all variants of the Glanza. The car will come with dual front airbags and ABS with EBD as standard on all variants. Smart Hybrid variants are equipped with an integrated starter-generator which provides a small amount of electric boost and enables idle start-stop functionality and brake regeneration.
