The BS-6 version of the KTM Duke 250 has been launched by the Bajaj Auto Limited in this month. Recently, the new Duke 250 got the upgrade in the form of new and updated headlights. Since the company is offering some updates and comes with a new BS-6 compliant engine, the price of the new KTM motorcycle has been increased.

The new Duke 250 now comes with a new set of LED headlamps, along with LED DRLs, with a design similar to that of its larger sibling, the Duke 390. KTM duke 125 has also introduced the Duke 250 with dual-channel ABS with SuperMoto mode.
KTM Duke 250 Specifications
The new KTM features a 248.8 cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine that outputs 29.91 PS at 9000 rpm and 24 Nm at 7500 rpm, which is exactly the same as before, in the previous version. To help it meet BS6 standards, the motor now exhales through an additional catalytic converter. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox that benefits from a slipper clutch. If we talk about the brakes, then a 300 mm front disc brake with four-piston radial fixed calliper, and a 230 mm rear disc brake with Single-piston floating calliper. The fuel average of the motorcycle is 31.85 kmpl on mixed city and highway riding conditions.
The new and updated price is INR 2 lakhs, that is, it now becomes INR 4000 more expensive.
KTM Duke 250 Design
There are some major upgrades in the new BS-6 version from the previous BS-4 version. The motorcycle received an upgrade in 2020 in the form of an LED headlight that is similar to the unit on the 390 Duke. Other changes made on the BS6-compliant Duke 250 also include the two new paint schemes: Dark Galvano and Silver Metallic. Both color options also come with slightly updated body graphics, which further enhances the sporty, aggressive and sharp design of the motorcycle.
KTM Duke 250 Features
Like other KTM models (KTM Duke 200), the Duke 250 also incorporates top-notch cycle parts such WP-sourced suspension setup and ByBre brakes. The motorcycle is built around a split-type trellis frame and rides on 17-inch alloy wheels which are shod with MRF Revz C1 tyres. The safety net includes a dual-channel ABS with Supermoto mode that deactivates ABS only for the rear wheel. Weighing at 161kg (kerb), the 250 Duke also boasts of an impressive power-to-weight ratio.
The Duke 250 get fully-digital LCD instrumentation, which in addition to all the standard info also shows you things like distance-to-empty, real-time fuel consumption, and average speed. The tail lamp and turn indicators are LED units, and safety is provided by a dual-channel ABS.
